Equinix raises 2026 outlook for a third straight quarter as bookings hit a record
The data-center REIT reported Q3 revenue of $2.57 billion, up 11%, and lifted its full-year revenue and AFFO-per-share guidance again on AI-driven demand.
Equinix (EQIX), the largest data-center REIT, reported third-quarter results after Wednesday’s close and raised its 2026 guidance for the third quarter in a row.
| Item | Q3 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue | $2.571B | +11% (+12% normalized, constant currency) |
| Adjusted EBITDA | $1.321B | +15% |
| AFFO per share | $11.64 | +18% (+12% excluding a one-time atNorth fee) |
| GAAP diluted EPS | $4.93 | +29% |
| Annualized gross bookings | $533M | +35%, a record |
Guidance: 2026 revenue is now $10.325 billion to $10.365 billion (from $10.205 billion to $10.285 billion), and AFFO per share $43.71 to $44.11 (from $42.69 to $43.29). Fourth-quarter revenue is guided at $2.684 billion to $2.724 billion. Capital spending stays at $5 billion to $6 billion.
Why it matters: Equinix sells space, power and interconnection to cloud and AI customers, so its record bookings and plans to deliver nearly 40% more cabinets this year than first planned are another sign that AI infrastructure demand is broadening beyond chipmakers. It also launched an inference exchange with NVIDIA and Together AI.
Market reaction: a consistent after-hours move had not been confirmed by major outlets at the time of writing; Thursday’s regular session will give the first clear read.
